 7th Jan: Transfer from Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park

Have breakfast early in the morning and transfer to Murchison Falls National Park.   We will visit the magnificent top of the  falls where you will enjoy and marvel at the mighty Nile. This  is a spectacular scenery can be viewed from different points up at the baler’s summit. Dinner and overnight at Red Chillis Rest Camp

 8th  Jan: Game Drive

Havea cup of coffee of tea and  go for an early morning game drive on the northern bank of the Nile, escorted by a ranger. If You Slept at the accommodation on the southern sector of the park, you will cross to Paraa and proceed for this drive in the  savannah wilderness. The Game in this part of the park  includes the, buffaloes, Rothschild giraffe, elephant, Jackson hartebeest, oribis, lions, leopards, waterbucks and a variety of savannah woodland birds. Return for mid morning breakfast and lunch and then we will go on a Nile cruise for game viewing at close quarters. Watch out for hippos as they sun bath, Crocodiles with their mouths open, elephants often at the

 

 

bank of the river drinking water and young crocodiles lying lazy at the shores. Dinner and overnight at Red Chillis Rest Camp

9th Jan  : Transfer from Murchison Falls – Fort Portal

Wake up very early for breakfast and pass through the Albertine escarpment to Fort Portal. The drive is almost eight hours but will provide you with some stunning views as you pass small African villages and banana plantations. The lovely town of Fort Portal rests in the shadow of the fabled Mountains of the Moon and is famous for the many tea plantations. Dinner and overnight at Primate Lodge Kibale

10th Jan : Kibale National Park

Have breakfast, go for a sensational chimpanzee tracking. Kibale Forest is highly regarded for having the greatest variety and highest concentration of primates in East Africa. Enjoy a guided nature walk in the tropical rainforest in search of the wild chimpanzee, black-and-white colobus monkey, red-tailed monkey and many others. After lunch transfer to the Bigodi Swamp for another, totally different swamp walk. The Bigodi Swamp Walk is a scheme of the local community and takes approximately two hours. The swamp is known for its rich diversity of birds and primates. Dinner and overnight at Primate Lodge

11th Jan : Kabale to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Have breakfast and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.  A game drive en route to the accommodation in the middle of the national park gives you the chance to spot waterbucks, oribis, warthogs and other wildlife.  Check in, have lunch before you heading for the  boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a natural canal between Lake Edward and Lake George. See animals like  elephants, buffaloes and hundreds of hippos. Dinner and overnight at Bush camp

 

12th Jan : Queen Elizabeth National  Park

Have coffee, and enjoy a game drive to  the mating ground of the Uganda kobs in  search for lions, leopards, buffaloes,  elephants,  antelopes. Have lunch. In the afternoon you will go to Maramagambo Forest for a nature walk through the tropical forest. See the Blue Lake, the Bats’ Cave, bats,  the rock python and forest cobras, that prey on the bats. The same walk will provide you with views of primates, different bird species and beautiful fauna. Dinner and overnight at Bush Camp.

13th  Jan : Chimpanzee Tracking and Transfer to  Bwindi

Have breakfast and head for Kyambura. You will hike into the gorge of the Kyambura River in search of the wild chimpanzees. It is a beautiful walk through the river valley, home to many birds and butterfly species. Later head for Bwindi. Pass through the Ishasha sector famous for tree climbing Lions before you proceed to Bwindi  for dinner and overnight at Buhoma Community Bandas.

14th Jan : Gorilla  Tracking

Prepare and set out to track. You will observe them closely while they eat, play and rest. A unique and memorable experience! For conservation purposes, time spent with the gorillas is limited to one hour. The ranger guide always briefs you on how to behave with these giant apes. Dinner and overnight at Buhoma Community Bandas

 

15th Jan: Departure

Depending on the time of departure you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home. We are looking forward to seeing you again!
